Since its founding in 1931, Kadono Sarashi Some Inc. has continued to uphold the traditional Japanese technique of wazarashi—a time-honored refining process for cotton fabric. From their enduring craftsmanship and passion was born a new lifestyle brand, “tututata.”
The brand name is inspired by the sounds of the Japanese words tsutsumu (to wrap) and tatamu (to fold), gestures that symbolize Japan’s fabric culture.
