Announcement of Newly Certified Products for the 4th Sakai Kitchen Selection

Sakai City promotes the Sakai Kitchen brand by certifying traditional products and complementary items that enhance their appeal, aiming to strengthen the brand value of its traditional industries.

Applications for Sakai Kitchen branded products were accepted from May 27 to July 26, 2024. A total of nine products were submitted, and following document screening and product and presentation evaluations, six new products have been officially certified.

The certified products will be available for a limited-time sale at Daikanyama Tsutaya Books in Tokyo from November 15 to November 28, 2024. Demonstration events and workshops by traditional industry artisans will also be held during this period.

In addition, from November 15, 2024 to January 31, 2025, a special Sakai Kitchen page will be launched on the online store REALJAPAN STORE, which offers approximately 2,000 traditional crafts and local products nationwide.
