Sakai City will host a special event at KITTE Osaka to promote the charm of Sakai in anticipation of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai. We warmly invite you to visit.

• Sales of Sakai Kitchen Certified Products and Local Specialties
  Newly certified Sakai Kitchen products from October will be exhibited and sold. In addition to knives, chusen-dyed tenugui, and incense, Sakai specialties such as kombu and Japanese sweets will also be available.

• Tea Ceremony Experience
  Tea ceremony experience hosted by the Osaka Metropolitan University Tea Ceremony Club (11:00 – 18:00)
  Special talk session and tea experience featuring Mr. Oussouby Sako, Vice President of the Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition, along with international students and members of the tea ceremony club (13:30 – 14:45)
• Tourism Promotion and Souvenir Sales
  Information on local tours and cultural attractions in Sakai
  Sales of souvenirs including sweets, matcha, shichimi spices, and kofun-themed goods
